JAGTIAL, APRIL 16, 2026: The Bankers Institute of Rural And Entrepreneurship Development (BIRED) in association with Janavikas Rural Development Society, has formally launched the 37-day tailoring and fashion designing for the benefit of womenfolk of Self-help groups in Rajarampally village of Pegadapalli in Jagtial district on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, BIRED Assistant Director Srinivas encouraged women to utilise the opportunity for their economic empowerment. He stated that certificates would be provided upon completion of the training, and efforts would be made to facilitate bank loans under the PMEGP scheme. He also mentioned that those interested in starting their own shops would receive support from the Bankers Institute of Rural Development and Rural Development Banking institutions based in Hyderabad. He advised all participants to maintain discipline and make full use of the training period.
Janavikas Rural Development Society Secretary Pendli Sampath Kumar stated that the training would cover advanced fashion designing, blouse cutting, cross blouse designs, neck patterns, and bridal blouse designs as per current market trends. He added that all necessary raw materials would be provided free of cost during the training and emphasised that such programmes help boost confidence among women.

The programme was attended by Master Trainer Nasreen, Janavikas Coordinator Raju, Rajarampally Sarpanch Islawath Ramesh Naik, Ponnagutta Mallikarjuna Swamy Dairy Chairman Nelli Mallesham, Directors Modumpalli Anjaiah, Bandari Beerayya, Lingampalli Rajesham, Mittapalli Latha, and 60 SHG women participants.
