NIRMAL, FEBRUARY 27, 2026: As part of the ongoing Road Safety month and campaign of ‘Arrive – Alive-2026’, the Nirmal district police, in association with the Health department, organised a free eye-testing camp for the benefit of drivers in Mudhole on Friday and distributed medicines and spectacles free of cost.
The initiative was aimed at assessing the visual fitness of drivers, recognising eyesight as a crucial factor in preventing road accidents. Drivers diagnosed with weak eyesight were advised to use corrective spectacles and were counselled on the importance of regular eye check-ups.
