The guest speaker, Dr. Rajni Priyadarshini— MS (OBG), ART Specialist (Cleveland Accreditation, USA), Founder of Rajni Fertility Centre, and Senior Consultant OBGYN & Managing Director of Renee Hospitals — delivered an insightful session on Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, its causes, symptoms, and preventive measures.
Dr. Rajni emphasised the importance of early diagnosis and lifestyle modifications in managing PCOD. She elaborated on the role of a balanced diet, physical activity, and stress management in maintaining hormonal health. Speaking on *personal hygiene during the menstrual cycle*, she explained practical and essential hygiene practices, such as the timely changing of sanitary products, maintaining cleanliness, wearing breathable fabrics, and avoiding excessive use of synthetic materials.
Highlighting the link between diet and menstrual health, Dr. Rajni advised participants to include fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and adequate water intake in their routine, while avoiding excessive junk food, sugary items, and processed products. She also stressed the importance of rest and regular medical check-ups for women’s overall well-being.
The program saw active participation from faculty members and students, who engaged in an interactive Q\&A session with the speaker. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating Dr. Rajni’s efforts in spreading awareness about women’s reproductive health and empowering students with vital knowledge.
