
KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 08, 2025: The campus of Vivekananda Residential School, (CBSE), Karimnagar, was filled with warmth and joy as students and staff celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with enthusiasm and devotion on Friday. The event highlighted the bond of love and protection between siblings, while also fostering traditional values among the students.
The celebrations began with a melodious song performance by Class 5 students, celebrating the sacred bond of Rakhi through music. Their voices echoed with emotion and meaning, creating a festive and heartwarming atmosphere.
This was followed by a vibrant dance performance by students of Classes 3, 4, and 5. The young performers mesmerised the audience with their energetic moves and colourful costumes, bringing life to the stage and joy to the gathering.
Adding to the charm of the day, the students of Classes 1 and 2 showcased their creativity by handcrafting beautiful Rakhis in class. The colourful and thoughtful designs reflected their innocence and excitement for the festival.
Principal Renuka Balivada addressed the gathering, praising the students for their active participation and emphasising the importance of cultural celebrations in building character and community.
Gandra Laxman Rao, Advisor to the Managing Committee, commended the students for their enthusiastic performances and appreciated the staff for organising such a meaningful programme.
Chairman Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polasani and Director (Academics) Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari extended their greetings and best wishes to the students, encouraging them to cherish and uphold traditional Indian values.
