KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 01, 2025: The Karimnagar District Cycling Association has decided to conduct a Bicycle awareness rally on the occasion of World Cycling Day on June 3 in Karimnagar town.
In a statement here on Sunday, Karimnagar district cyclist association president and state associate president V Narender Reddy said that the World Bicycle Day rally would be conducted on June 3 in Karimnagar town from Indira Chowk to SRR college grounds. He said that World Bicycle Day draws attention to the benefits of using the bicycle — a simple, affordable, clean and environmentally friendly, sustainable means of transportation. The bicycle contributes to cleaner air and less congestion and makes education, health care and other social services more accessible to the most vulnerable populations. A sustainable transport system that promotes economic growth, reduces inequalities while bolstering the fight against climate change is critical to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals,”
