KARIMNAGAR, MAY 22, 2025: There was an overwhelming response to the Hindu Ekta Yatra organised by the BJP district under the supervision of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar in Karimnagar town on Thursday evening on the auspicious occasion of Lord Hanuman Jayanthi celebrations.
Braving inclement weather with incessant rains, the Karimnagar town was painted in ‘saffron’ with the arrival of several thousands of Hanuman devotees (wearing malas) to participate in the Hindu Ekta yatra from Vysya Bhavan and passed through all important thoroughfares in Karimnagar town on Thursday night. The Hindu Ekta Yatra was being held in Karimnagar town after two years, as it was not conducted during the last two years due to the election code of conduct. There was a good response to the yatra, with the frenzied mob participating in the yatra after the Pahalgam incident.
On the other hand, Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam is personally supervising the security arrangements in the Karimnagar, braving incessant rains. The police had made unprecedented security arrangements by deploying roof-top surveillance, static forces, striking forces, mobile patrolling etc. The CP observed the yatra through mobile command control CCTV cameras.
