
HANAMKONDA, FEBRUARY 24, 2025: Pinnacle 2K25, a state-level commerce and management students’ meet, was successfully organized by the Department of Commerce and Business Management, Vaagdevi Degree & PG College, Hanamkonda, on Monday. The event received an overwhelming response, with 461 participants from various degree colleges across the Telangana state registering for the competition. The organizers announced a total cash prize of ₹60,000 to the winners of various competitions.
The event was inaugurated by Kakatiya University, Controller of Examinations, Prof. K. Rajender and University College of Commerce and Business Management Prof. Amaraveni, with the principal of Vaagdevi Degree and PG College Sheshachalam, presiding over the function. In his presidential address, Sheshachalam highlighted the importance of such initiatives, stating, “To face the challenges of the modern world, students must be well-equipped. This e-Summit is a testament to our commitment to providing practical exposure beyond academics.” He also appreciated the faculty and students of CBM for their efforts in organizing the event.
Prof. Amaraveni emphasized that “Pinnacle 2K25 bridges the gap between academics and the corporate world. Such events nurture managerial talent and prepare students to adapt to industry changes. To stay relevant, students must go beyond classroom learning and explore new technologies like AI and Data Science.”
Prof. Rajender, the Chief Guest, reiterated the importance of commerce and business management, calling it an “evergreen domain with a promising future.” He stressed the impact of technology and globalization on industries and financial markets, urging students to stay updated with changing trends. “Commitment, dedication, and passion are key to success. Sustainability and ethical responsibility must be at the core of all business practices,” he added.
Adding a creative touch, Prof. Krishnamachari delivered a poetic message on Pinnacle 2K25. The event saw enthusiastic participation from Prof. Raji Reddy (Director, MBA Program), S. Mahendra Kumar (Head, Department of MBA), P. Sugunakar Reddy (BBA Program Coordinator), faculty members’ of department of Commerce and Business Management and students.
The first and second rounds of 24 formal and informal events were successfully conducted on the first day, setting the stage for an exciting finale. Pinnacle 2K25 continues to serve as a dynamic platform for aspiring commerce and management professionals to showcase their skills and innovation.
