KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 24, 2025: Government Degree College, Huzurabad, Associate Professor, Kothireddy Mallareddy presented a paper on ‘Unified Language interface to address linguistic diversity through technology for indigenous digital inclusion in the context of Viksit Bharath @2047 at UNESCO headquarters in Paris on February 24, 2025.

Mr Malla Reddy participated in the International Mother Language Silver Jubilee Conference being held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France from February 24 to 16, 2025 and presented his research paper. Mr Mallareddy said that if UNESCO recognizes 8324 languages around the world, about one-fifth of them are spoken in India. However, India recognizes only 22 languages as official languages and includes them in the 8th Schedule of the Indian Constitution, and official proceedings and educational institutions are organized only in those languages.
Especially in the process of India becoming a developed country by 2047, Mr Mallareddy stated that the goal of his research is to make the fundamental rights provided by the Indian Constitution, such as equality, freedom of speech and equal educational opportunities for all, available to languages that are not in the schedule keeping left behind and are far from the administration.
He said that this would be possible by designing a Unified Language Interface (ULI) on the lines of the Unified Payment Interface (UPI). He said that the government should provide support for it and that this will be possible if researchers, linguists and technical experts work together. About 400 delegates from different countries around the world participated in this conference.

State General Secretary K Surender Reddy, SRR ID College Principal Professor Kalvakunta Ramakrishna, Academic Coordinator K Lingareddy, IQAC Coordinator B Renuka, Staff Secretary K Narender, faculty members J.
