KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 29, 2024: Commissionerate of College Education, Joint Director Rajendra Singh has advised the faculty members to focus on research activities along with teaching and take the students to a higher level.
Mr Singh was at SRR Government Arts and Science College in Karimnagar town on Saturday. Interacting with the faculty members, he said that the CCE Commissioner Sri Devasena was according top priority and taking the higher education on the right path. He informed all the assistant and associate professors to become professors by taking up research which would help the students and the society at large.
He suggested that the faculty should pay more attention to students and concentrate on overall development of students. Encourage the students to be involved in research activities and showcase their talents, he added. Principal Y Satyanarayana and others were also present.
Later, the Women empowerment cell of the college celebrated the Bathukamma festivities in advance by involving the students. The students made colourful Bathukammas by arranging flowers in a conical shape and playing around them by singing traditional songs. Vice principal T Rajaiah, IQAC coordinator Harjoth Kaur, NSS programme officers Arjun, Rajesham, R Srinivas, P Tirupati, Elizabeth Rani and others participated.
