RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, SEPTEMBER 17, 2024: NSS unit-II of Government Degree College, Sircilla, organised ‘Swatchhata Hi Seva’ programme under the guidance of Principal T Shankar and NSS district nodal officer Markonda Shakuntala on the college campus on Tuesday.
As part of the programme, the NSS volunteers participated in the cleanliness drive of the campus by removing shrubs, weeds and plastic waste from the premises. On this occasion, Principal T Shankar explained the keeping the premises clean and tidy to check the spread of diseases during this season. He also called upon the students to take up plantation of saplings.
Vice principal T Lavanya, NSS programme officer M Shakuntala, faculty members K Surender Reddy, M Shoba Rani, Krishna Prasad,, Narsaiah, Karuna, Madhubabu, Arjun, Tirupati, PD G Sridhar Rao, office staff P Gopikrishna, PRK Sharma, Nirmala and others participated in the programme.
