KARIMNAGAR, JULY 26, 2026: Elections for the District Executive Committees of the Telangana Government Colleges Gazetted Teachers’ Association (TGCGTA) were successfully conducted at S.R.R. Government Degree College, Karimnagar, for the districts of Karimnagar, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, and Peddapalli, on Sunday.
In the elections, M. Sathyaprakash was elected as President, G. Srinivas Reddy as Secretary, A. Rajashree as Treasurer, T. Rajayya as Vice President, and Burla Venkateshwarlu as State Councillor for Karimnagar district. For Jagtial district, N. Sangeetha Rani was elected as President, A. Srinivas as Secretary, and E. Rajkumar as Treasurer. In Rajanna Sircilla district, G. Sridhar Rao was elected as President and A. Prasad as Secretary. For Peddapalli district, G. Purushotham was elected as President and Ch. Maruthi as Secretary.
All the office bearers were elected unanimously. On the occasion, Kadaru Surender Reddy, State General Secretary of TGCGTA, congratulated the newly elected representatives and expressed confidence that they would work dedicatedly for the welfare of government degree college teachers and the advancement of higher education in the state.
