KARIMNAGAR, JULY 12, 2026: Nandini Convent and Valmiki Vidyalayam in Karimnagar town hosted a grand felicitation ceremony on Sunday to honour the winners of the Talent Scholarship Test 2026, marking a significant academic initiative aimed at encouraging young talent in Karimnagar town.
The scholarship test was conducted recently, wherein over 500 students from various government and private schools participated. The test was conducted for the students from first to ninth standards, and winners were selected three from each class, numbering 27, and another three were consolation prizes, making it a total of 30 prizes.
The prizes were distributed in the range of Rs 5,000 for first prize, Rs 3,000 for second prize and Rs 2,000 for third prize. A total of Rs 90,000 cash was distributed as prize money to the winners, comprising of 23 students from various private and government schools and seven from Nandini Convent and Valmiki Vidyalaya.
Nandini Convent and Valmiki Vidyalayam schools chairman Yadagiri Shekhar Rao, Karimnagar Bar association president Erram Raja Reddy, Ekalavya schools chairman Narasimha Rao and Pachunuri Surender participated in the distribution of cash prize to the winners.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shekhar Rao said that the Talent Scholarship test was conducted only to unravel the hidden talent among the students. He also wished the students good luck in their future endeavours and to excel in their chosen careers.
