KARIMNAGAR, JULY 01, 2026: Students of Manair educational institutions in Karimnagar town celebrated the National Doctor’s Day with lots of enthusiasm on Wednesday.
The tiny tots donned the role of doctors by wearing aprons, carrying a stethoscope and a cap. They also explained the role of doctors to serve the people as demi-gods. Students also felicitated Dr Vollala Sravan Kumar of Vrindha Hospital in Mankammthota in Karimnagar town and conveyed their greetings.
Manair Educational Institutions chairman Kadari Ananth Reddy said the special day commemorated the birth and death anniversary of Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy, a renowned physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal. He said, “This day is a reminder that doctors are not just caregivers, but also individuals who need empathy, support and well-being”. Director K Sunitha Reddy, Principals, Vice Principals, in-charges, and faculty members were also present.
