KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 23, 2026: The Manair CBSE School in Padmanagar, Karimnagar town, celebrated International Olympic Day on its premises with much pomp and gaiety on Tuesday.
The students participated in the Olympic rally by carrying five interlocking rings, coloured blue, yellow, black, green, and red, known as the “Olympic rings”, along with an Olympic torch to promote the values of the Olympic movement.
School chairman Kadari Ananth Reddy also participated in the Olympic rally by carrying the torch along with the students. On this occasion, he expressed his delight over the successful celebration of the day, emphasising the importance of sports in holistic education. He said events like these not only promote physical fitness, but also instil values of discipline and teamwork among students, which are essential for their overall development.
He also highlighted the significance of the Olympic Day celebrations in fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and healthy competition among the students. Director K Sunitha Reddy, Principals Saritha Reddy, Raju Chako, PETs Siliveri Mahender, Tirupati, Swamy, Akhila and others participated in the programme.
