TIRUPATI, JULY 26, 2026: The three-day annual Jyeshtabhishekam of Sri Govindaraja Swamy at Tirupati concluded on Sunday with the ceremonial Kavacha Samarpanam.
The rituals included Suprabhatam, procession of the sacred kavachams, Satakalasa Snapanam, Mahasanthi Homam, and Snapana Tirumanjanam to the utsava deities of Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Sri Devi and Bhu Devi. The festival concluded with Kavacha Pratishta, Akshatarohana, Asthanam, and offering of the sacred kavachams.
In the evening, the deity will bless devotees in a procession through the temple streets along with Ubhaya Nachiyars.
Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Deputy EO Smt. Santhi and other temple officials participated in the ceremony.
