Pulse polio immunisation would be conducted from June 28 to 30
TIRUMALA, JUNE 27, 2026: A Pulse Polio Awareness Rally was organised at Tirumala on Saturday to create awareness among the public about the importance of administering Pulse Polio drops to children below five years of age.
The rally commenced from SV High School and concluded at Balaji Nagar. Dr Kalyani of the TTD-run Ashwini Hospital led it.
As part of the Pulse Polio Immunisation Programme, polio drops will be administered to children below five years of age from June 28 to 30, between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, at various locations across Tirumala. Parents are urged to ensure that every eligible child receives the life-saving vaccine.
SV High School Headmaster Kishan, doctors and staff of Ashwini Hospital, teachers, and students participated in the awareness rally.
