RAMAGUNDAM, JULY 21, 2026: NTPC Ramagundam commenced a major notebook distribution programme for Government school students in the surrounding areas under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. As part of the programme, around 41,000 notebooks worth approximately ₹15 lakh will be distributed to nearly 10,000 students studying in 127 Government schools across the four mandals of Ramagundam, Anthargaon, Palakurthy and Kamanpur.
The first phase of the distribution programme was formally launched at Ramagundam Mandal on Tuesday. Rakhi Samanta, President, Deepti Mahila Samiti (DMS), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Jinka Mallesham, Mandal Education Officer (MEO), Ramagundam, senior members of Deepti Mahila Samiti, teachers and students from various Government schools of Ramagundam Mandal were present during the programme.
Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries lauded NTPC Ramagundam’s sustained efforts towards promoting education and supporting students from Government schools. They highlighted that the notebooks would assist students in their academic pursuits and motivate them to excel in their studies.

NTPC Ramagundam continues to undertake several initiatives aimed at enhancing educational facilities and opportunities in the surrounding communities. These include distribution of bicycles, provision of dual desk benches, organisation of yoga and karate training programmes, and development of educational infrastructure in nearby villages and schools.
The notebook distribution programme reaffirms NTPC Ramagundam’s commitment towards fostering quality education and contributing to the holistic development of the community.
