KARIMNAGAR, JULY 26, 2026: The CBSE Kabaddi Cluster VII tournament, hosted jointly by Vivekananda Residential School and Sister Nivedita School, delivered a spectacular day of sporting brilliance today. The event saw fierce competition across the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 girls’ categories, with Veritas Sainik School emerging as the undisputed powerhouse, dominating the podium across multiple age groups.
Under-19 Girls: A Hyderabad Derby
In the senior-most girls’ category, the Under-19 finals turned into a thrilling intra-city showdown. Veritas Sainik School, Hyderabad emerged victorious, claiming the Winners title. They were closely followed by Vikas The Concept School, Hyderabad, who secured the Runners-Up position. The Third Place was shared between Sister Nivedita School, Hyderabad and Obul Reddy Public School, Hyderabad, both of whom put up commendable performances.
Under-17 Girls: Thirupathi Reigns Supreme
The Under-17 Girls’ competition was equally intense, with Veritas Sainik School, Thirupathi showcasing dominance to take home the Winners’ trophy. Obul Reddy Public School, Hyderabad put up a strong fight to claim the Runners-Up spot. The bronze medal in this category was shared by Army Public School and Tagore School, who displayed great determination on the mat.
Under-14 Girls: A Clean Sweep for the Veritas Group
The Under-14 Girls’ category saw Veritas Sainik School sweep the top two positions. Veritas Sainik School, Thirupathi clinched the prestigious 1st Place, while their sister campus, Veritas Sainik School, Hyderabad, finished as Runners-Up. Obul Reddy Public School, Hyderabad secured a shared Third Place alongside Veritas Sainik School, Siddipet, highlighting the sheer depth of talent in the tournament.
Boys’ Finals Set for Tomorrow
The excitement continues as the tournament shifts focus to the boys’ competitions on Monday, July 27. The highly anticipated Boys’ Finals are scheduled to take place tomorrow. In a much-anticipated pre-final clash, Veritas Sainik School, Hyderabad will face off against Vikas The Concept School, Hyderabad in the Under-17 Boys’ category to determine who advances to the ultimate showdown.
