Conducts ground-breaking for upgradation and development of Bokkalavagu check dam in Manthani
PEDDAPALLI, AUGUST 03, 2026: As a prelude to the ensuing police recruitment drive, Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu has decided to provide free coaching to the job aspirants in Manthani town.
Accordingly, the Minister inaugurated the ‘Mana Vooru – Mana Coaching centre’ on Monday at a private function hall. The best quality coaching for the physical fitness exam as well as written exam will be provided at the camp, he said and called upon the aspirants to utilise the camp and transform their lives in the coming three months by working hard.
The Mana Vooru – Mana Coaching centre would provide free coaching, food and accommodation, study material including books. The Minister informed the aspirants to spend at least 15 hours a day for physical fitness tests and prepare for the written examination to fulfil their dream job in the police department. ‘I will provide all assistance for the coaching, and it is the duty of the candidates to work hard to secure employment’, he pointed out.

Mr Sridhar Babu participated in the ground-breaking ceremony for the beautification and upgradation of Bokkalavagu Check Dam in Manthani mandal, which was taken up by Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages under its CSR initiative, Project SHINE, for Rs two crore. This project will help improve water conservation and improve the surroundings for the people living in the area.
Appreciating Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages for taking up this initiative, the Minister said that ‘when the government and industry work together, we can do a lot more for our communities. I hope more industries come forward to support such initiatives across Telangana’. The Bokkalavagu would be developed with gardening, open gym, walking track, playing items for children and the executing agency would also take up desiltation of the check-dam.
Inspects site for construction of Coca Cola factory in Ratnapur village
The Minister visited the proposed site for the construction of the Hindustan Coca Cola factory in Ratnapur village along with Collector Koya Sriharsha, company officials and others. He said that the opening of the factory would ensure employment for the local youth.
At Manthani Government Civil Hospital, he participated in the newly constituted development committee meeting and conducted a review of the medical facilities for the patients. He directed the officials to provide quality medical care to the people visiting the hospital. He said that they would intensify the road widening works in Manthani town for the development of the town. RDO Suresh, Municipal chairman Srinivas and others were also present.
