KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 15, 2024: Telangana Rachayithala Vedika vice president Penugonda Basaveshwar, a poet and also cartoonist from Karimnagar district, has won the prestigious Pendhota Sahitya Puraskhar for the year 2023 for his book “Prashnanu Mingina Kaalam”, a compilation of poems.
The literary award would be presented to Basaveshwar at a function in Siddipet district very soon. The award carries a cash prize, a citation and felicitations by eminent personalities. The award was instituted by Srivani sahitya parishath of Siddipet town.
