Let’s Make the Jagannath Rath Yatra a Grand Success – Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs

KARIMNAGAR, JULY 04, 2026:  Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has called for a large number of devotees to participate in the Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra programme starting from the Mahalakshmi Temple premises on July 16, 2026, and to attain salvation by pulling the chariot.

Participating in the release of the poster of the Rath yatra organised by the Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra Utsav Committee under the leadership of ISKCON Narahari Prabhu, the Union Minister said that the pilgrimage on the chariot of Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra will take place from Mahashakti Temple, Mankamma Thota, Telangana Chowk, Bus Stand and Tower Circle to Vaishya Bhavan. He asked the devotees to make the necessary arrangements for this Rath Yatra. He said that it is a great fortune that a Hindu relative from Karinagaram got the opportunity to pull the chariot of Jagannath.

Narahari Prabhu said that devotees should participate in large numbers in the Jagannath Rath Yatra, which is being held for the fifth time in Karinagaram, to show their devotion and to gain the good fortune of pulling the chariot. Municipal Co-Option member, Kanna Krishna, on behalf of the Jagannath Rath Yatra Festival Committee, explained the arrangements to Bandi Sanjay. In this programme, along with the President of the Festival Committee, Kanna Krishna, committee members Dr L Rajabhaskar Reddy, Tummala Ramesh Reddy, Burra Madhusudhan Reddy, Komuravelli Venkatesham and others participated.
