Students Should Make the Best Use of This Opportunity: Prof. K. Ramakrishna, Principal, Government Degree College for Women (Autonomous), Jagtial
JAGTIAL, AUGUST 04, 2026: The Telangana Council of Higher Education has released the schedule for the DOST (Degree Online Services, Telangana) Special Drive Phase, which is the final phase of admissions for undergraduate degree courses for the academic year 2026–27, according to Prof. K. Ramakrishna, Principal of Government Degree College for Women (Autonomous), Jagtial.
In a joint statement issued along with DOST Coordinator Dr. G. Chandraiah, the Principal shared the details of the admission schedule. He informed that a limited number of seats are still available in various undergraduate programmes offered by the college, including B.Sc. Physical Sciences, B.Sc. Life Sciences, B.Sc. Health Care (AEDP), B.Com. Computer Applications, B.Com. BFSI, and B.A. (English and Urdu Medium). He urged eligible students to utilise this final opportunity to secure admission in the prestigious Government Autonomous College.
The Principal further stated that a few seats are also available in the B.Sc. Health Care and B.Com. BFSI (AEDP) programmes, which have been specially designed to enhance employment and career opportunities. Interested students were advised to make the best use of this opportunity.
According to the DOST Special Drive Phase schedule, online registration will be open from August 6 to August 11, while web options for selecting colleges and courses can be exercised from August 6 to August 12. Seat allotment will be announced on August 14, and students who are allotted seats must complete online self-reporting between August 14 and August 18.
Students who complete online self-reporting should report to the college on August 17 and 18 with their Intermediate Original Transfer Certificate (TC), other original certificates, and photocopies of all relevant documents to complete the College Confirmation process.
The Principal also informed that students who have already completed the College Confirmation process may utilize the Intra-College Phase-II option to apply for a change of course within the college through their DOST personal login on August 20 and 21. The allotment of seats under this phase will be announced on August 22.
As the Special Drive Phase is the final opportunity for degree admissions for the academic year 2026–27, Prof. K. Ramakrishna appealed to all students who have not yet secured admission to exercise as many web options as possible and ensure that they take advantage of this final chance.
