Karimnagar DCCB to provide highest interest rate of 7.6 per cent for deposits

Senior citizens to get 8.10 per cent for deposits in the bank

KARIMNAGAR, JULY 25, 2024: In order to attract customers and increase deposits in the bank, the Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (KDCCB) has increased interest rates for the general public and the senior citizens with effect from Thursday (July 25, 2024) onwards.

The general public would get an interest rate of 7.6 per cent and senior citizens would get 8.10 per cent interest rate for depositing the amount for one to three years period. Earlier, the rate of interest was 7.25 per cent for general public and 8 per cent for senior citizens.

The interest rate for making deposits for a period of 180 days to one year period was increased from the existing 6.50 per cent to 6.75 per cent for general public and increased from 7 per cent to 7.25 per cent for senior citizens. For deposits above three years, the interest rates have been increased from 7 per cent to 7.25 per cent for general public and from 7.50 per cent to 7.75 per cent for senior citizens.

KDCCB CEO N Satyanarayana Rao informed the people to utilize the opportunity and save in the DCCB branches in the integrated Karimnagar district and avail highest interest rates than any commercial banks. Incidentally, the KDCCB is the only bank to announce highest rates for the benefit of customers.
