KARIMNAGAR, JULY 25, 2026: Renowned IVF doctors Dr Bangari Rajani Priyadarshini of Renee Hospital and Dr Anamalla Sridevi Naresh of Rohan Hospital said that IVF is a wonderful boon for couples suffering from infertility problems.
Speaking as chief guests at the World IVF Day celebrations organised by the Satavahana Lions Club today, they said that it is a good development that modern hospitals providing IVF treatment are available in every town today. Programme coordinator Lion Burra Madhusudhan Reddy said that World IVF Day is celebrated annually on July 25th to commemorate the birth of Louise Brown, the world’s first IVF baby, in 1978, created by Robert Edwards and Patrick Steptoe. It honours medical milestones, embryologists, and fertility specialists worldwide. It is heartening to see that with the scientific and technological changes in the medical field since then, it is common to have children through IVF, he added.
