KARIMNAGAR, JULY 29, 2026: Guru Purnima celebrations were conducted with great devotion and spiritual fervour at the Mahimanvita Sri Sai Baba Temple located on the campus of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science, in Thimmapur Mandal on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Thursday. On the occasion, a large number of devotees visited the temple, offered prayers to Sri Sai Baba, and participated in the special pujas.
Under the guidance of the temple’s chief priest, Sri Dattatreya Sharma, special abhishekams were performed, followed by Maha Harathi amid the chanting of Vedic mantras. It was particularly noteworthy that the same style of worship and rituals followed at the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple were also observed at this temple.
As part of the Guru Purnima celebrations, devotees participated in bhajans and various spiritual programmes, remembering their Guru and seeking the blessings of Sri Sai Baba. The temple premises resonated with devotional songs, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere.
Jyothishmathi Educational Institutions Chairman Sri Juvvadi Sagar Rao, his wife Smt. Vijaya, College Secretary Sri Juvvadi Sumith Sai, Dean Dr PK Vaishali, faculty members, college representatives, and devotees participated in the celebrations and performed special pujas.
The Guru Purnima celebrations were conducted in a grand and spiritually uplifting manner with great devotion and enthusiasm.
