KARIMNAGAR, JULY 27, 2026: Collector Chitra Mishra has instructed the R&B officials to expedite the completion of the Road Over Bridge (ROB) without causing any further delay, connecting the Karimnagar and Choppadandi roads at Theegalaguttapalli near the railway station in Karimnagar town.
The Collector visited the ROB site in Karimnagar town on Monday and personally inspected the progress of the works. She inspected the so-far completed works and inquired with the R&B officials about the remaining pending works. She inquired about the execution of service roads and construction of side drains and instructed the authorities to expedite the works in a time-bound programme.

Stating that the service roads are important at the ROB project site, the Collector said that they were taking all measures for acquiring the land for the service road and directed the revenue authorities to intensify the process of acquiring the land. She also said that the authorities should take all measures to avoid traffic snarls at the ROB and avoid inconvenience to the road-users till the completion of the project.
The Collector said that the completion of the ROB at the railway station would avoid traffic snarls at the level crossing and ensure smooth flow of traffic between Karimnagar and Choppadandi. She also directed the R&B officials to oversee the progress of the ROB project without compromising on the quality of the works. R&B EE Kumaraswamy, DE Kiran, AE Madhu and others were also present.
