TIRUPATI, JUNE 26, 2026: TTD will launch “Akshara Govindam” and Annaprasana services at Sri Vakulamata Temple, Tirupati, from July 3, to provide a sacred beginning to children’s education and first feeding ceremony with the blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy and Sri Vakulamata.
Children aged 3 to 5 years can participate in the Aksharabhyasam ceremony, conducted with Vedic chanting. Participants will receive blessings, prasadam, and a complimentary Akshara Govindam Kit containing educational and devotional items.
The Annaprasana ceremony will also be performed traditionally under the guidance of temple priests with Vedic rituals. From July 4, the services will be held on all days except Tuesdays in two batches of 25 children each (50 per day).
Advance registration at the temple one hour before the ceremony is mandatory. Parents are advised to attend in traditional attire.
TTD appealed to devotees to make use of these special services for the auspicious beginning of their children’s education and life.
