KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 18, 2024: Students of St George International School (CBSE) showcased their exceptional skills in a chess tournament conducted by the Genius Chess Academy on Sunday. Four students from grade eight participated in the ranking chess tournament, Ashrith Varma and Varshith performed exceptionally well to secure third and fourth places, respectively, along with ranking points.
Chairman P Fatima Reddy congratulated the students and emphasized the importance of ranking tournaments for chess players. He encouraged students to focus on chess, stating that it enhances thinking skills and promotes mental growth. The school’s chess coach, Anoop was also appreciated for his guidance and support and also appreciated the students.
