TRSMA Chief Advisor promises social security scheme to all private employees

Y Shekhar Rao intensifies electioneering in Huzurabad assembly segment for MLC elections

KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 17, 2024: Telangana State Recognised Schools Management Association (TRSMA) State Chief Advisor Y Shekhar Rao has promised the government social security schemes to all the private employees in the Telangana state.

Mr Shekhar Rao, who has decided to contest from the Karimnagar Graduates Constituency in the ensuing MLC elections, visited the Huzurabad assembly segment and interacted with the faculty members of government schools, junior and degree colleges and also private colleges on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shekhar Rao said that the private degree and PG colleges have announced indefinite closure of the colleges demanding the government to release pending fee reimbursement dues. He appealed to the government to clear the pending dues in a phased manner and help the private educational institutions.

Reminding that former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajashekhar Reddy had introduced the fee reimbursement scheme to help the poor and rural students with higher education, he urged the government to continue the scheme by releasing the fee reimbursement.

He also said that the government should provide retirement benefits to the government employees and teachers on the day of his retirement and not cause harassment by delaying in the payment of his legitimate rights.

Mr Shekhar Rao stressed on the health and life insurance coverage for the private employees to instill confidence. He promised to solve the pending issues pertaining to the government and private sector employees in the constituency.

Reminding that he had ensured 25 kgs of rice and Rs 2,000 cash to the private employees during the outbreak of COVID-19, he said that he had decided to contest the MLC only for the welfare of the private employees in the state. He assured to strive for the retirement benefits of the private employees also on par with the government employees. Faculty members Tulasidas Vasudeva Rao, Murali, Ponnam Chander, Padi Jaipal Reddy, Venkat Ramana, V Swaroopa Rani, Vijender Reddy, Vanaala Raj Kumar and others were also present.
