KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 15, 2025: The Telangana SC\ST Teachers Upadyaya Sangham (TSCSTUS) has announced its support for Congress candidate V Narender Reddy in the Legislative Council elections from the Karimnagar-Adilabad-Nizamabad and Medak Constituency.
TSCSTUS state president Banothu Kishan Naik, state secretary Girimalla Chittibabu, Siddpet district president Shankar Naik, state leaders G Shankar, B Raju and others handed over the support letter to Mr Narender Reddy in the presence of Minister for Transport and BC Welfare Ponnam Prabhakar at his camp office n Husnabad of Siddipet district on Saturday.
TSCSTUS state president Kishan Naik said that they had decided to extend support to the Congress contestant from the Karimnagar Graduates in the MLC elections as he had promised to take all measures for the filling up of vacant backlog SC\ST posts in Telangana. Mr Narender Reddy also assured to strive for 18 per cent reservations for SCs and 10 per cent reservations for STs and setting up of Training centres in every district to train the unemployed youth and help them secure employment, he stated. The association leaders called upon the SC\ST employees to cast their vote in favour of Narender Reddy for the upliftment of SC\STs.
At the Husnabad assembly segment Athmeeya sammelanam, Minister for Transport and BC Welfare Ponnam Prabhakar informed the Gradates to cast their first preferential vote to Mr Narender Reddy in the elections on February 27. He also listed various welfare schemes launched by the Congress after attaining power and recruitment of 55,000 vacancies within one year.
