KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 07, 2024: The TSRTC Karimnagar region has bagged the first prize at the corporation’s grand festival challenge 2024 and cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, a trophy and felicitations.
At a programme organised at RTC Kala bhavan in Hyderabad on Thursday, Minister for Transport and BC Welfare Ponnam Prabhakar presented the award to Karimangar RTC regional manager S Sucharita by felicitating her by presenting a shawl and trophy and cheque. RTC managing director VC Sajjanar and others were also present.
The TSRTC had conducted the Grand festival challenge from October 15, 2023 to January 22, 2024 covering Bathukamma, Dasara, Diwali, Sankranthi festivities. The Karimnagar region bag the first prize, Mahabubnagar region second prize and Nizamabad third prize.
Karimnagar RTC regional manager Sucharitha attributed the success in the grand festival challenge due to the team work and efforts of bus crew including drivers and conductors. She said that the award had boosted their morale and would work with more enthusiasm days to increase the revenues for the RTC. Karimnagar regional ED Vinod Kumar, deputy regional manager Satyanarayana and others were also present.
