
Earns Rs 24.71 crore by commuting 48.99 lakh passengers with an Occupancy ratio of 92 per cent
KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 20, 2025: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) Karimnagar region has earned a revenue of Rs 24.71 crore by ferrying a total of 48.99 lakhs during the Sankranthi festivities in the integrated Karimnagar district.

In an official release on Monday, TGSRTC Karimnagar regional manager B Raju said that the RTC had reaped riches by operating special buses to various destinations during the Sankranthi festivities. The RTC ferried 48.99 lakh commuters from January 7 to 19, 2025 with an occupancy ratio of 92 per cent. The RTC buses traversed a total of 43.21 lakh kilometres of dances and the earnings per kilometre (EPK) was 57.18.
The Godavarikhani depot earned a revenue of Rs 3.69 crore by commuting 7.53 lakh passengers with an OR of 98 per cent. The Jagtial depot commuted 6.33 lakhs with OR of 89 per cent and earned a revenue of Rs 3.18 crore. Karimnagar Two depot earned Rs 3.16 crore by commuting 4.38 lakh passengers with OR of 80 per cent. The Karimnagar one depot earned Rs 2.70 crore by commuting 5.48 lakh passengers with an OR of 78 per cent.
The Huzurabad depot secured the highest OR of 107 per cent and earned Rs 1.75 crore by commuting 4.12 lakh passengers during the festival season. The Husnabad depot earned Rs 1.37 crore by commuting 3.6 lakh passengers.
The Korutla depot earned Rs 1.90 crore by commuting 3.74 lakh passengers with an OR of 100 per cent. The Metpally depot earned Rs 1.79 crore by commuting 3.86 lakh passengers with an OR of 101 per cent and the Sircilla depot earned Rs 1.84 crore by commuting 3.83 lakh with an OR of 100 per cent. The Manthani depot earned Rs 1.49 crore by commuting 2.54 lakh passengers with an OR of 92 per cent.
