KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 02, 2024: The Telangana Employees Association (TEA) Karimnagar district unit has urged the state government to release the pending Dearness Allowance (DA) to the employees and pensioners before the announcement of election notification of Lok Sabha elections.
In a statement here on Friday, TEA district president MA Kadeer said that the Telangana government has to pay pending DAs of July 2022, January 2023 and July 2023. Whereas, the central government employees were ready to get another new DA, he stated.
He urged the government to clear the pending Das, supplementary bills, surrender leaves and medical bills, GFP part and final payment and help the employees. Alleging that the former government had neglected the plight of employees and pensioners, he appealed to the Congress government to respond immediately and release pending DAs and other bills before announcement of election notification.
