Good Samaritans celebrate mass birthday of children at Tabitha childcare institution in Ramagundam 

PEDDAPALLI, FEBRUARY 02, 2024: The trend of celebrating birthdays and festivals at orphanages is engaging the do-gooders in the Ramagundam coal belt region. The motive behind the celebrations with them is to make them feel privileged and a part of our society. There are many non-governmental organisations (NGOs) which provide shelter to the helpless and homeless people.

Like the Tabitha Child Care Institution in Ramagundam which is taking care of several children and homeless. Accordingly, the Fight for Better society founder M Dinesh had organised a mass birthday celebrations of the inmates of the child care institution on Thursday evening. On this occasion, they organised a cake cutting programme with the children and distribution of sweets.

On the occasion of 79th birth anniversary of former legislator Mathangi Narsaiah, his family members Mathangi Sunitha, Uday and Ajay distributed new clothes to the chidren. Social activist M Naveen along with his friends distributed blankets, towels, carpets etc and provided food to the inmates.

The organizers ensured the local temple priest Sashi and Church Father  Joel Joseph bless the children. “We decided to celebrate our happiness with these people as we wanted to share our grace with the institutions that are working towards the betterment of the entire society and show them the principles of mankind”, the Good Samaritans said.

Municipal Commissioner Nageshwar, SCCL RG-1 general manager Srinivas, District Welfare Officer Rauf Khan, Municipal corporator K Satish Kumar, district child and women welfare officials Kanakaraj, Rajitha, Singareni officials Anjaneya Prasad, Veera Reddy and others were also present.
