PEDDAPALLI, APRIL 18, 2024: The Congress legislators from Peddapalli parliament segment have exuded with confidence that the Congress contestant from Peddapalli reserved parliament constituency Gaddam Vamshi Krishna would win the elections with a thumping majority and set a new record in the Telangana state.
At the Dharmapuri assembly segment constituency party workers meeting in the temple town on Thursday, all the legislators from the parliament segment including Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu attended the meeting which was presided over by Government Whip and Dharmapuri legislator Adluri Laxman Kumar. MLC and Nizamabad MP Candidate T Jeevan Reddy, Mancherial MLA Premsagar Rao, Ramagundam MLA Makkan Singh Raj Thakur, Peddapalli MLA Ch Vijayaramana Rao, Chennur MLA Ch Vivek Venkatswamy, Peddapalli Congress contestant G Vamshi Krishna and others attended the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister for IT and Industries D Sridhar Babu said that G Vamshi Krishna is the heir of former MP G Venkat Swamy from Peddapalli parliament constituency. Stating that Vamshi Krishna would win with thumping majority, he asked former Minister Koppula Eshwar, who had lost the Assembly elections, how he could win the parliament elections.
MLC and Nizamabad Congress Lok Sabha contestant T Jeevan Reddy said that it is a cake-walk for G Vamshi Krishna from the Peddapalli parliament constituency. He appealed to the Minister Sridhar Babu whether they would make him Abhimanyu or Arjuna as he entered the Nizamabad padmavyuham.
Chennur MLA G Vivek Venkatswamy predicted that the Congress would win from all the 17 parliament constituencies in the Telangana state under the leadership of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. He appealed to the Congress rank and file to extend same support to his son and contestant from Peddapalli parliament constituency G Vamshi Krishna.
