NAFSCOB chairman inaugurates CSC at Kanukula PACS

PEDDAPALLI, FEBRUARY 14, 2024:  Mr Konduru Ravinder Rao, chairman of NAFSCOB, TSCAB and Karimnagar DCCB, has formally inaugurated the Common Service Centre (CSC) at the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) Kanukula village in Sultanabad mandal on Wednesday.

In order to strengthen PACS and make them economically vibrant entities at the panchayat level, the CSCs were being opened at all PACS in the integrated Karimnagar district. The CSC would provide more than 300 services such as PAN card, Aadhar card, payment of insurance, legal services, banking services, passport application, train and plane tickets bookings, gas bookings, payment of power bills, PF withdrawals, mobile recharge, pension, IT,GST, etc.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ravinder Rao said that the opening of CSCs in the rural areas through PACS will help provide more than 300 services at the doorstep of the villagers. Stating that the PACS are backbone of the cooperatives, he said that the delivery of CSC services through PACS in rural areas will increase employment opportunities.

He said that Union Minister for Cooperation Amit Shah was taking several measures for the strengthening of the PACS in the country and informed the opening of CSCS through all PACS. He also assured all assistance for the strengthening of Kanukula PACS. Karimnagar DCCB CEO N Satyanarayana, PACS chairman Kota Veena Raja Malla Reddy, vice president Kommidi Venkat Ram Reddy, secretary B Shankaraiah, Sultanabad DCCB branch manager Sashidhar Rao, Field officer Sagar Reddy, KDCCB main office premises manager Hanumantha Rao and others were also present.
