KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 23, 2024: Gangula Laxmi Narsamma, mother of former Minister and Karimnagar MLA Gangula Kamalakar was cremated in Karimnagar town on Wednesday.
Her last rites were performed at Swargadham crematorium at Sapthagiri colony in Karimnagar town. Scores of supporters of local MLA, BRS leaders and the family participated in the funeral procession.
Earlier, former Minister and Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao, former Ministers Prashanth Reddy and Srinivas Goud, MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra, former MP B Vinod Kumar, Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy, Choppadandi legislator Medipalli Satyam, former MLC Narasadu Laxman Rao, former MLA Sunke Ravishankar, Mayor Y Sunil Rao, former Mayor S Ravinder Singh, Collector Pamela Satpathy, Additional Collectors Praful Desai and Laxmi Kiran, Municipal Commissioner Chahat Bajpai, SUDA chairman K Narender Reddy, BRS party president GV Ramakrishna, Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy, Municipal corporators and others paid floral tributes to the mortal remains of Laxmi Narsamma and consoled bereaved Gangula Kamalakar and his family members.
