KARIMNAGAR, JULY 25, 2024: Rajani Fertility Centre in Karimnagar town celebrated the World Embryologist Day also known as World IVF day, which is observed annually on July 25 to recognize and honour the contributions that embryologists have made to the field of infertility and reproductive treatment. Besides, the day is also celebrated commemorating the birth of world’s first test tube baby, Louise Brown in 1978.
On this occasion, Rajani Fertility Centre organised a free IVF camp and provided medical assistance to around 120 patients. The camp was inaugurated by Renee hospitals chairman Dr Bangari Swamy. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Rajani Fertility Centre had benefitted several couples with good success in the north Telangana region. He said that the hospital was fully equipped with latest equipment and had incorporated many advancements in the field. He said that the fertility centre was also planning to provide free accommodation to the patients from two Telugu speaking states.
Expressing concern over declining fertility rates in the country, he attributed it due to late marriages, sedentary life style, junk food, obesity, alcohol, tobacco products and pollution. He said that the Rajani fertility centre had attained distinction in north Telangana with good success rate and benefiting the childless couples. Cardiologist Dr Dinakar Tatimatla, general physician Dr Nikhil Laxman, Embryologist Dr Pradeep, Anesthesialogist Dr Damodar Reddy, Dr Mounika, Dr Avanija, biomedical engineer Ratan, hospital general manager Aravind Babu and others were also present.
