KARMNAGAR, MARCH 14, 2024: Mr Konduru Ravinder Rao, chairman of NAFSCOB, TSCAB and Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB), has formally laid foundation stone for the construction of new buildings for the DCCB branches in Sultanabad and Mallapur mandal headquarters of the integrated Karimnagar district on Thursday.
Peddapalli legislator Ch Vijaya Ramana Rao participated in Sultanabad and Korutla legislator Dr K Sanjay participated in Mallapur mandal programme. Similarly, Mr Ravinder Rao along with Korutla MLA also inaugurated Mallapur PACS godown and society office building on the occasion. Vice chairman P Ramesh, CEO N Satyanarayana Rao and others were also present.
Talking to newsmen on the occasion, NAFSCOB chairman Ravinder Rao said that the Karimnagar DCCB has emerged number one bank in the integrated Karimnagar district in providing financial assistance to the farm sector. Stating that the DCCB is placed at third position after SBI and UBI in doing business, he said that the Karimnagar DCCB was doing total business of Rs 6,500 crore in the district.
He said that the Karimnagar DCCB had diversified its business activities and providing financial assistance to all sectors including housing, education, MSME and others. He said that they were taking all steps to strengthen all PACS in the district by converting them into Multi-service centres and function on par with banks. The bank directors Mohan Rao, Naresh Reddy and local leaders were also present.
