KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 20, 2026: As part of the ongoing Fire Services Day celebrations, the Daram Susheela Devi Charitable Trust had felicitated the district fire services personnel, including DFO Srinivas Reddy, on Monday.
Appreciating the courage and sacrifice of fire brigade personnel while reinforcing its commitment towards citizen safety and welfare of firemen and their families, Charitable Trust chairman Dr D Raghu Raman said that marking the Fire Service Week (April 14–20) under the theme “Safe spatial & Fire safety Aware Society- Together for Fire prevention.”
He emphasised that fire safety is not just a service responsibility, but a shared civic duty. He called upon citizens to actively participate in awareness drives, adopt safe electrical practices, and learn the use of fire extinguishers to safeguard lives and property.

Highlighting a strong citizen-centric approach, the Doctor announced extensive fire safety campaigns in schools and public spaces, including evacuation drills, hands-on training and awareness on disaster preparedness. He underlined that empowering citizens with knowledge is the first step towards building a fire-resilient city.
