CM dares former CM KCR to attend Assembly and debate for the cause of people
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, NOVEMBER 20, 2024: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said that former Minister and BRS working president K Taraka Rama Rao will be landed behind bars for hatching conspiracy even if he goes to Delhi and Moon.
He dared former Chief Minister and BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao to come to the assembly at least once and debate for the cause of the people.
The Chief Minister participated in the “Praja Palana—Praja Vijayotsavalu” in Vemulawada on Wednesday, offering prayers to presiding deities at Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy devasthanam and participating in several developmental programmes.
Reminding that Karimnagar is the birthplace of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao who showed the country a new direction with his economic reforms, he stated that AICC leader Sonia Gandhi made the promise of granting statehood to Telangana in Karimangar public meeting. Sonia Gandhi fulfilled the promise of formation of a separate Telangana state. He added that Sonia Gandhi proved the Congress party was ready to sacrifice to fulfil the assurances.
What happened to Karimnagar district after the BJP won the elections? Did they raise the development of Karimnagar in the Parliament? Did they bring any funds for the development of the district.? If they had done so, would the irrigation projects in the district have remained incomplete? he asked.
He grilled why KCR, who spent Rs 20 lakh crores in 10 years, didn’t develop the Vemulawada temple with Rs 100 crores? Why was Package 9 not completed? I visited the Vemulawada temple during my padayatra, and accordingly, the government is taking all measures for the development of the Vemulawada under Indiramma rule.

The opposition is spreading misinformation about farm loan waivers. Come to the assembly to face the truth. Our Agriculture Minister will give a befitting answer, he stated. Claiming that the government had provided 50,000 jobs in ten months, he said that he was read to show the details with statistical data. “I am also ready to tender an apology if the data is proved wrong”, he pointed out.

Even though the Kaleshwaram project sank, Telangana produced 1 crore 53 lakh metric tonnes of paddy without using a single drop of water from Kaleshwaram.
KCR spent Rs 1 lakh 23 thousand crores for Kaleshwaram. Have you completed any projects? Can you say that you have provided water to the people? Harish Rao built a farmhouse on the lands acquired for Ranganayak Sagar. We will do all the calculations and make it public. Kondapochamma Sagar was built to supply water to KCR’s farmhouse. Brother in law is consuming drugs and they did not want to take action. Does it require a separate law for the poor and you?
As the Chief Minister, I want to complete the Narayanpet-Kodangal lift irrigation project in my assembly constituency but the opposition party is obstructing it. The opposition is also creating hurdles for land acquisition to establish industries and provide jobs to the locals in my area. Some forces created ‘Rowdy’ gangs and instigated them to attack the officials. They also alleged that cases were booked.
Will KCR support the language used by his son and son-in-law? Should we not set up industries in Telangana and provide jobs to our children? Hasn’t the previous government acquired lands in 10 years? The BRS leaders have a history of land encroachment in Konda Pochamma Sagar. Why is the BRS opposing land acquisition in Kodangal? Why is the opposition showing hostility towards Kodangal?
Land acquisition is a must for development. My government is taking care of those who lost their lands and are suffering. The government decided to enhance the compensation.
