KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 20, 2024: Former Karimnagar MP B Vinod Kumar has filed his nomination papers from the Karimnagar parliament constituency to the returning officer and Collector Pamela Sathpathy in Karimnagar town on Saturday.

Mr Vinod Kumar along with Huzurabad legislator P Kaushik Reddy, Karimnagr MLA Gangula Kamalakar, former legislator Rasamayi Balakishan and BRS minority leader Md Jamaluddin.

Talking to reporters, Mr Vinod Kumar said that the BRS, which secured Telangana state, should represent in New Delhi for its legitimate rights. Reiterating that he secured more funds for the development of Karimnagar parliament constituency, he flayed the Karimnagar MP and BJP leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar for not uttering a single word for the development of Karimnagar parliament constituency.

He alleged that the development works had come to standstill in the Telangana state after the Congress party attained power. He asked whether Karimnagar MP seat was a rehabilitation centre for BJP contestant Bandi Sanjay Kumar after losing the Karimnagar assembly elections.

Karimnagar MLA Gangula Kamalakar has claimed that the BRS alone would protect the interests of the Telangana state and its people. He said that the Karimnagar had developed only under the leadership of Mr Vinod Kumar.
