KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 28, 2024: In the sudden spurt of season diseases and the majority of the people suffering from dengue, malaria, chikungunya and other viral fevers in the Karimnagar district, the TDP Karimnagar district unit has urged the district administration to take appropriate measures by deploying adequate medical fraternity in all the government hospitals and check the exploitation of the private hospitals by conducting the surprise inspections. They also urged the authorities concerned to launch a special sanitation drive to check the breeding of mosquitoes in the entire district.
Accordingly, the TDP leaders led by V Srinivas Reddy, K Agaiah, Damera Satyam, S Rajesham, L Bhaskar Sharma, R Sridhar and others submitted a memorandum to the DRO in his chambers on Wednesday. The TDP leaders urged the district authorities to launch special sanitation and anti-malarial activities by taking up fogging operations, spraying of larvicides and removal of shrubs and saplings in the open areas to check the breeding of mosquitoes.
Stating that all the hospitals are filled to the brim with the outbreak of seasonal diseases, the TDP leaders urged the administration to provide adequate medical facilities in the government hospitals. They also charged that the private hospitals were fleecing the patients due to the arrival of hordes of patients with dengue, chikungunya and other viral fever cases. They urged the government to keep surveillance of private hospitals to check exploitation of the situation.
