Green colour day celebrated in Siddartha Schools in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR, JULY 20, 2024: Tiny tots of pre-primary sections of Siddartha high schools in Mankammathota, Bhagathnagar and Vidyanagar localities in Karimnagar town celebrated the Green colour day with lots of fun and frolic on their respective school premises on Saturday.

As part of the concept of activity, the school conducted the Green colour day. The green represents purity, innocence, light and goodness. It is the colour of perfection. As green is the colour of life renewal, nature and energy which is closely associated with meanings of growth, freshness, harmony, fertility and environment.

As part of the celebrations, the tiny tots came to the school dressed in green attire. The classes were also decorated with green ribbons and balloons. The children enjoyed colouring, thumb printing and other activities to promote the green colour and save environment from pollution. They displayed various green fruits and vegetables and explained about its nutritional values and its consumption to stay healthy. It was indeed a fun-filled day for the little ones. All the students enjoyed the activity and performed with confidence enthusiastically. They enjoyed the green colour, which was fun and informative to the little inquisitive minds of the students.

Siddartha schools chairman Dasari Sripal Reddy said that the purpose behind the celebration was to familiarize the students with the green colour and encourage them to eat seasonal fruits and leafy vegetables for good health. Also, it would motivate the students to take up plantation and save environment from pollution, he added.
