HYDERABAD, JULY 13, 2024: Officials of Telangana Drugs Control Administration (DCA) have seized Ayurvedic ‘Yajant’ pain oil in Nizamabad town for misleading advertisement that it treats arthritis, sciatica, other pains which is a contravention of Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisement) Act, 1954.
In a statement here on Saturday, DCA director-general VB Kamalasan Reddy said that following the information about the circulation of the said medicine in the market, the Drug inspectors V Srikanth and Shyamsundar seized the Ayurvedic medicine. Further investigation would be carried and action would be initiated against the offenders.
