KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 27, 2024: Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy has formally inaugurated the Legion Phaco machine costing Rs 37 lakhs at Lions Club of Karimnagar Dr Bhaskar Madekar charitable eye hospital in Rekurthi in Karimnagar town on Wednesday.
The phaco ultrasound technology machine will enhance the performance of cataract surgeries leading to quicker surgical procedures and faster recovery of patients.
After the inauguration of the machine, China Jeeyar Swamy went round the charitable eye hospital and under the eye testing also. He appreciated the Lions club members for maintenance of cleanliness and sanitation in the hospital and growing trees to keep the environment clean and tidy.
He also blessed the devotees. The Lions club members submitted a memorandum urging China Jeeyar Swamy to help the charitable eye hospital purchase Lasik machine worth Rs 3.5 crore through CSR funds of any corporate houses. For which, Swamy responded positively. Lions club chairman Konda Venu Murthy, vice chairman Chidura Suresh, treasurer Bomma Pawan, trust board members Muralidhar Rao, Kola Anna Reddy, Raji Reddy, Venkateshwar Rao, Kodanda Ramulu, M Badresham, Sudhakar Reddy, doctors and hospital staff were also present.
