JAYASHANKAR-BHUPALAPALLI, NOVEMBER 21, 2024: Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Nimuben Jayantibhai Bhambhaniya visited various parts of Telangana state on Thursday to review the central government schemes and developmental efforts.
On her arrival, she was accorded a warm welcome at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, by representatives of FCI, CWC, BIS, NCCF, and members of the Koli community. At the Government Circuit House in Jayashankar Bhupalapally, she was accorded a Guard of Honour, followed by discussions with officials regarding the progress and implementation of the aspirational district programme. Subsequently, a crucial review meeting was conducted with district officials at IDOC, focusing on the effective implementation of central government schemes and policies.
Mrs Bambhaniya visited a medical camp and stalls promoting nutrition campaigns, women’s entrepreneurship, agricultural products, and fisheries in Chelpur village. She interacted with beneficiaries, learning about their enthusiasm and experiences with the schemes. She then visited the millet processing unit in Chelpur village, engaging with workers about their processes and insights.
Addressing the public under the Aspirational District Programme, the Union Minister emphasized the significance of millets, agricultural empowerment, and the welfare schemes of the central government.
