HYDERABAD, AUGUST 20, 2024: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy inspected the site on the premises of the State Secretariat for the installation of the Telangana Thalli statue on Tuesday. The Chief Minister already announced that the Telangana Thalli statue would be installed on the premises of the Secretariat on December 9, last year.
Mr Revanth Reddy made it clear several times that the Secretariat, which is the epicentre of the state administration, is the suitable place for the installation of the Telangana Thalli statue with pride and utmost respect.
The Chief Minister reiterated the installation of the Telangana Thalli statue in the Secretariat while participating in former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s birth anniversary celebrations today (Tuesday).
During the inspection, the CM discussed with the officials the suitable location to install the statue, the requirement of space and the design plans. The Chief Minister suggested that the Telangana Thalli statue should reflect the Telangana culture and ordered the officials to prepare detailed plans for the installation of the statue.
