NIRMAL, AUGUST 12, 2024: Superintendent of Police Dr Janaki Sharmila has felicitated Bathula Aswini, who secured a silver medal in the sub-junior State-level Boxing championship recently.
The Telangana Boxing Federation under the aegis of the state government has conducted the third sub-junior boys and girls state-level boxing competitions. In this competition, Nirmal Home Guard officer Bathula Laxmi’s daughter Bathula Aswini won the silver medal in the 37 to 40 kg category.
Aswini would now participate in the national level boxing competitions which would be held in New Delhi from August 30 onwards. On this occasion, the SP congratulated Aswini and wished her good luck in her endeavour. The SP also assured assistance from the police department for Aswini in sports.
