

KARIMNAGAR, MAY 10, 2025: Durgabai Deshmukh Government Women’s Technology Training Institute in Hyderabad, Telangana, offers diploma courses, particularly for orphans and the destitute. The institute was established to empower girls through technical skills and provide livelihood opportunities.

In a statement here on Saturday, District Welfare Officer M Saraswathi said that the applications are currently being invited for the Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) 2025 for admission to diploma courses in engineering and non-engineering/technology at polytechnics in Telangana.
The orphan girl students, girls who have lost their mother or father, the girls who had become orphans due to various reasons and living in Children’s homes and other organisations were eligible for admissions. Among 240 seats, the orphans would be provided 70 reservations.
The candidates were informed to submit their application forms on or before May 20. The students can approach the ICPS office on the premises of Zilla Parishad in Karimnagar or collect further details by dialling 94908810989, the press release stated.
